Mike Heller

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Strikes For Tikes, Mike formed this 501 C3 with his father Steve, who originally started the program in the American Association with the Winnipeg Goldeyes. The program has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's charities in various markets. Currently a resident of Northern California, Mike has has played, coached, and officiated baseball at all levels, including umpiring at the professional level. When not on a baseball field, Mike is the General Manager for the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Parks District in Rio Linda, California.
David Shammas
treasurer
David has served on the Board since the inception of Strikes for Tikes. He has been instrumental with the operations and visits to local ballparks to spearhead annual campaigns with Minor League Baseball Teams. David resides in Dallas, TX and enjoys both baseball and golf. He truly enjoys seeing the joy that the Strikes for Tikes program provides to children involved with local charitable organizations.
